Cynthia Garde is a software, hardware, and information technology executive and systems-thinking practitioner pairing over two and a half decades of leadership with a modeler’s eye for complex dynamics. From a technology manager at Amtrak implementing the UATP card nationwide, project management officer of trains and Wi-Fi to modernizing transportation legacy systems, to introducing predictive technology and then serving as a technology architect, and ultimately, a Chief of Technology and Security spanning several industries, including HealthCare, Transportation, Health and Fitness, Education, and more. Her human and system-centric approach encompasses technical rigor and security, all grounded in data, complex design, and forward-thinking principles.
Her educational background is in pure and applied Mathematics, Automatic Control, and learning Quantum Mechanics. She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT Sloan School of Management with an MBA and is completing her graduate certificate in Artificial Intelligence at Columbia University.
